About Us

The Cougar Ridge Residents Association (CRRA) is a community-run, non-profit organization established to undertake responsibility for the additional operations, maintenance and replacement services at a level of service over and above the standard of service provided by The City of Calgary, to the extent legally permissible, for the public utility lots, environmental reserves, municipal reserves, public walkways, road boulevards, road medians, entrance features and associated community and related signage.

The CRRA also undertakes the responsibility for the collection of the annual CRRA fee, payable against the Cougar Ridge Residents Association Encumbrance, and pursuant to the “Land Titles Act”. Every person owning a residence on the parcels of land that were developed wholly, or in partnership with United Communities Inc., is a member of the CRRA.

The members of the Board of Directors are residents who volunteer their time. Your 2011-2012 CRRA Board was elected at the 6Oct2011 AGM:

President: John M..
Vice President: Tamara M.
Secretary: Natacha W.
Treasurer: Vickie M.

Directors at Large: Dawn A., Kobra A., Harvey M., Malcolm S., and Chris T.

The CRRA Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who have dedicated many man hours to bring the CRRA into full operation.  We receive no funding; no remuneration is provided.  Any monies collected by the CRRA need to be properly managed, and done so in an effective way to provide the best value for the community.  All monies collected by the CRRA through the annual fees are solely for the purpose of beautifying the neighbourhood, improving the landscaping in Cougar Ridge.

The CRRA holds an Annual General Meeting each fall and CRRA member residents are notified by mail each year of the AGM date/location/time.  Please consider volunteering to be a Board of Director.
